We offer tutoring for any dental hygiene course, the NBDHE, NDHCE, and ADEX/CRDTS clinical exams. We also offer virtual instrumentation tutoring for students struggling with clinical skills.

Our tutoring is more than just passing exams. It is a transformational process designed to help you become a confident dental hygienist AND human. Students leave our sessions aware of their strengths/weaknesses and how to tackle them. They also report feeling less anxious, more capable, and more confident that they can overcome hard things (beyond just the board exam!)

One-on-one tutoring is for the student who needs specific test-taking strategies, test-anxiety management, or other custom support that board prep companies do not typically offer.

We offer many resources, practice quizzes, and customized tutoring for each subject, but we also love to work alongside your chosen board prep company. This way, you have many resources to utilize during your independent learning time if you wish. 

Tutoring may not be a good fit if you are looking for a quick fix, a magical miracle, or someone else to do the work for you.

We are looking for students with grit and tenacity - students who may be struggling but are not willing to give up. We will teach you, guide you, and help you strengthen your skills, but your success ultimately depends on your willingness to show up, follow through, and do the work.  

This will depend on your individual situation, but we typically recommend 1-2 sessions a week over 2-3 months for boards prep. Your tutor can help you come up with the tutoring plan that is right for you.

You’ll need a reliable internet connection, a microphone, a private/quiet location, and ideally a camera. We often use visual learning materials, so a larger screen (laptop or desktop) is recommended over a phone.

Yes! You can request a specific tutor, but scheduling availability may be limited or you may be placed on a waitlist. 

First, we will review your intake form, make sure we are a good fit, and pair you with the best tutor for your needs.

Next, you will be provided with a booking link where you can choose your date/time (based on tutor's availability) and pay for your session.

Purchased sessions are non-refundable. You may reschedule with at least 48 hours notice without being charged. Tutors will wait up to 10 minutes for late students, but sessions will still end at the scheduled 50-minute mark.
